Baraha provides a range of educational consulting services, including:

  • Documentation Support: Help with preparing and submitting application documents

  • Pre-Departure Assistance: Preparation for living and studying abroad

We act as an intermediary between students and educational institutions. We do not guarantee admission to any program, as final decisions are made solely by the respective institutions . We also do not provide regulated immigration legal advice; any visa information provided is general guidance only .

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian if under 18 
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information 
  • Ensure all documents submitted are genuine and legally obtained 

4. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information for counseling or applications 
  • Ensure all documents submitted are genuine and legally obtained 
  • Respond to our requests for information and documents in a timely manner
  • Meet all application deadlines set by us or the institutions 
  • Inform us immediately of any changes to your personal information or circumstances
  • Follow all instructions and timelines provided by Baraha 
  • Comply with the rules and requirements of third-party institutions and government authorities 
  • Use our services only for legitimate educational purposes

5. Fees, Payments & Refunds

Baraha may charge service fees for counseling, application processing, and other services. All fees will be communicated clearly before service initiation .

Key Payment Terms:

  • Digital Payments Only: All payments to Baraha must be made through banks or digital payment channels. Cash transactions are strictly prohibited in accordance with the new regulations for Nepali educational consultancies .
  • Official Receipts: You will receive an official receipt for every transaction .
  • Direct Payments: University application fees, tuition fees, and other third-party charges are payable directly to the respective institutions, not to Baraha .
  • No Objection Letter: Before remitting tuition fees abroad through banking channels, you are responsible for obtaining a ‘No Objection Letter’ (NOL) as required by law .
  • Refunds: All service fees paid to Baraha are non-refundable once services have commenced. Refunds will only be provided under exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of management, or as per a specific written agreement .

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baraha acts as a facilitator and is not liable for :

  • Decisions made by universities, colleges, or other educational institutions 
  • Visa approvals or rejections by immigration authorities 
  • Delays, losses, or additional costs arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by you 
  • Changes in government policies, visa regulations, or institutional requirements without notice 
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of opportunity or reputation 
  • Technical issues, interruptions, or downtime of our website 

In no event shall our total liability exceed the total fees paid for our services .

7. Accountability & Student Protection

In line with Nepal’s recent regulations, Baraha takes accountability seriously . However, our liability is limited. We are not responsible for:

  • The actions or decisions of foreign institutions
  • The well-being of students while they are abroad
  • The legal status of foreign institutions at the time a student is abroad

By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own well-being and for verifying the legal status of your chosen institution.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Baraha Education Consultancy, its employees, counselors, directors, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms and Conditions
  • Your misuse of our Website or services
  • Any fraudulent or misleading information you provide 

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Baraha Education Consultancy and is protected by intellectual property laws .
